It's Official!
Santa is coming early!
We just received word that our next rescue girl, Keaton, or Mama K as her foster mom calls her now, will be starting her journey up north on December 20th. Several people have volunteered to drive her on the various legs of her journey to our home. Including my former lacrosse teammate, Missy (go Banana Slugs!).
Her puppies are adorable! They will be available through Northwest Boxer Rescue if you want to become related to us through Management! Speaking of NWBR, we teamed up for a holiday fundraiser. Every person who donates now through December 9th will be entered in a raffle to win one of our Xmas Boxer Dog figures. I’ve made this one extra special too, putting it in a snow globe ornament with some faux snow so it can hang on your Christmas Tree!
I’ve also donated a few items to the R&R Holiday Auction. You might recall R&R first brought us Betsey in November of 2023. And they also sent us pictures and info on Keaton. So I am indebted to them for helping me rescue two of my beautiful dogs. I highly recommend checking out their holiday auction because of the wide variety of items: generic dog, boxer dog and non dog related. They also have a couple of those very impossible to find boxer sugar skulls that Michaels sold out of last year.
Follow us on Facebook and Instagram (@5149Management) to see all the pictures and video of Keaton’s arrival. Her first Christmas in her forever home. And once she is settled in, obviously I will turn over the writing duties to her and let you hear from the boss herself.
Last but not least in my mini announcements post here, we are getting set to release the Dear Management book. Featuring all the columns written by Betsey with her senior rescue dog advice. I am really hoping to inspire people to adopt senior dogs with this book, and just share the incredible experience I had with Betsey.
The book be available on Kindle, and their will be a special edition hard copy sold in my shop as well, which will include the Betsey letter from the Rainbow bridge. Part of the proceeds from the book will be going back to the rescue that brought me my sweet girl. I will let you know as we get closer to the release date. I would love to hear what you think of the cover design (below).
Keep an out for our next post. As it appears Betsey left a “letter” behind for the next Management. Giving that dog all the low down on their new forever home. We’ll be sharing that before Keaton’s arrival.
Happy Holidays from me & the Intern!

I love the cover design! So beautiful and peaceful. Laura Dailey
