But Management isn’t much of a baseball fan. She seems to prefer women’s tennis. That said, we will end the evening on less of a somber note…

Dear Management,

I know this might sound stupid compared to real problems, but I’m genuinely devastated. The Mets didn’t make the playoffs and I feel like my whole year has been ruined. I invested so much time and emotion into this season - watching every game, following every trade, believing this was finally going to be our year. Now it’s over and I just feel empty and disappointed. My husband says I’m being ridiculous, but he doesn’t understand. How do I deal with this crushing disappointment?
